Fenugreek flowers in June and July with pale yellow pea-like flowers in the leaf axils. It comes from the Near East, is grown as a spice and green manure and, when dried, smells distinctly of Maggi seasoning. The flowers provide nectar and pollen and are used by honeybees and wild bees.
