Sulphur cinquefoil flowers from June to August with pale yellow flowers in loose cymes. It grows upright on dry grassland, on embankments and railway embankments and comes from south-eastern Europe. Unlike its creeping relatives, it stands tall enough to be visited well and provides pollen and some nectar.
