Trumpet vine flowers from July to September with large orange-red trumpet flowers. It comes from the eastern USA, climbs with aerial roots and is planted against warm house walls. In its homeland it is pollinated by hummingbirds; here bumblebees and bees crawl inside. The nectar sits deep, but is plentiful.
