Treacle mustard flowers from May to September and provides moderate nectar with a moderate pollen value. It is annual, grows on arable land, rubble sites and along waysides and copes well with poor soil. Its small yellow cruciform flowers are flat and easy for honeybees to reach. As a single plant it hardly counts, but in dense stands it supplements the summer flow.
