Creeping bellflower flowers from June to September and provides moderate nectar with an equally moderate pollen value. It grows along waysides, field margins and in open woodland and spreads rapidly via underground runners. In the garden this soon makes it a nuisance, whereas on unused margins it is welcome. For the apiary it remains a minor flow in high summer, when the major flows are over.
