Beekeeping software for your iPhone
Your hive records and colonies on iPhone and iPad – with no connection to the internet required. Bienenvölker on the App Store.
At the apiary, only offline helps
Apiaries rarely stand where the signal is good. At a woodland edge, behind a hill, in the gap between two villages – an app that needs a connection there is useless at the moment it matters.
The iOS app works entirely offline. You add colonies, enter inspections, edit or delete existing records – without a single bar of reception. As soon as the device is back in range, everything syncs in the background and is available on your other devices and in the web application.
What you do in the app
- Find colonies. Through the search field instead of a long list – with many colonies, the difference between looking up and searching.
- Colony groups. Nucs, production and breeding colonies stay apart, each group with its own hive record form.
- Enter inspections. Colony strength, brood combs, food combs and whatever else your form holds.
- Capture observations. As a voice note or a photo, instead of typing with gloves on.
App and web application together
The app is not a separate tool but the way in from outside. At the hive you record what comes up; at the desk you evaluate, print and configure. Both work on the same data.
How many devices you may use depends on your plan – one on the free plan, any number on the paid ones. The details are on the pricing page.
Also for Android
The same app is available for Android. If you run both in your operation, they work on the same data.
